This painting was inspired from a photo I took with a friend, who was visiting me in New Orleans, before I moved. We came upon this guy in the French Quarter and he had a sign that said "Insults One Dollar". We laughed and said "No way! We don't want pay you to be insulted!" So he smirked and turned over his sign to this sign that said "Compliments Two Dollars"
This original is painted in acrylic paints on a gallery-wrapped canvas, 1.5" depth. It is 24x30" with clean white edges. It is lightly varnished with an acrylic matte finish.
